Christine Slabb

Bundjalung/ Yugambeh Artist and Graphic Designer, Christine Slabb lives a lifestyle that is connected to nature and continues to practice traditional cultural principles.

Christine's inspiration comes from her strong connection to her local environment and community. From connection and environment comes cultural stories, cultural practices, nature, seasons and everyday life.

"Being from a coastal group of Aboriginal people we have a strong affiliation with the sea and all of its richness and resources, so a lot of my designs are inspired by the coastal lifestyle that we find here on the coast".  -Christine Slabb

On the Northern Rivers of NSW and the Gold Coast QLD, Christine ‘gets creative’, painting, designing and styling.

Christine‘s love for her culture and coastal lifestyle, inspires and strengthens her in everyday moments, in everyday life. Applying these ties lets her connect creatively.

Christine is a successful artist- her paintings are world wide, Japan, United States, South Africa, Denmark and luxury Hotel's on the Gold Coast, Australia.

From winning Aboriginal Art Award’s, North Coast TAFE Indigenous Student of the Year, to collaborating with companies such as 2XU and NRL Gold Coast Titans, Christine’s achievements are a reflection of great opportunities.
